Refund Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
I want you to be happy with the work. This policy explains how refunds work across the kinds of services I offer. For anything not covered here, email [email protected] and I’ll work with you in good faith.
Deposits
Project deposits reserve your spot in my schedule and cover initial work (discovery, planning, and setup). Deposits are non-refundable once that work has started, because that time can’t be recovered.
Project work in progress
- If you cancel mid-project, you’re billed for work completed up to that point; anything paid beyond that is refunded.
- If I’m unable to deliver agreed work and we can’t find a fix, I’ll refund the portion you paid for the undelivered work.
- Completed and approved milestones are not refundable.
Hosting and maintenance plans
- Recurring hosting and maintenance are billed in advance for each period.
- You can cancel anytime; service continues through the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and that period isn’t prorated or refunded.
- I don’t refund past periods that have already been served.
Third-party costs
Fees paid to third parties on your behalf (domains, certificates, paid services, licenses) are non-refundable once purchased, since I can’t recover them.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your project name and the reason. I’ll respond promptly and aim to resolve any concern fairly — often the right answer is fixing the problem, not just a refund.
